What data this website collects
This website has no forms that store data on our servers. The contact form sends nothing to any server: it composes a message and opens it in your WhatsApp application so that you decide whether to send it. Until you press send in WhatsApp, no data leaves your device.
We also use no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Data we process when you contact us
When you message us on WhatsApp, call us or send an email, we process the data you provide: name, phone number, email address, property address and any information or photographs you send about the work required.
Purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare the requested quotation and, where applicable, manage the resulting contractual relationship.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request and performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR), together with compliance with tax and accounting obligations where an invoice is issued (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
Retention: data from quotations that are not accepted is kept for a maximum of twelve months. Data associated with invoiced work is retained for the legally applicable tax limitation and guarantee periods.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not pass your data to third parties except where legally required. WhatsApp messaging is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. under its own terms and privacy policy, which you accept by using the application.
Tax data relating to invoiced work is accessible to our accountancy firm, which acts as a data processor under the corresponding agreement.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to info@selectedglass.es, stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of an identity document.
If you believe the processing does not comply with regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
